About

THESTAGROOM is a photographic journey born from the fusion of dance, theater, and visual arts. It is literally a space dedicated to crafting and preserving fragments of poetry, where the body becomes the storyteller.

Photography becomes the language of the body, stripped of contemporary traces.

My work stages the imagery of 'myth', reworking classical iconography through a personal language of body, space, and light. When the body undergoes deep physical and emotional intensity—through abandonment or profound introspection—it dissolves or expands into universal archetypes of self-representation long celebrated in painting and sculpture.

Natural elements—water, living rock, wood, earth—refuse to anchor the observer to any modern decade. The subjects exist in an eternal present, rendering the psychological state of the photographed figure equally timeless. Shifting that physical intensity into raw, contemporary environments helps fuel the same narrative: an intimate, unfiltered storytelling where, whether within urban archaeology or a modern dwelling, modern isolation mirrors the exact sense of tension that Romanticism once captured so masterfully.

Like cinematic frames of a loosely sketched narrative, pulling the viewer into a psychological space rather than stopping at the mere contemplation of a body in a space.
